In the U.K. at least. The second generation Soul wasn’t a huge seller and it feels like the tipping point for EVs is coming soon; so it does make some sense. Prices seem to be getting down to a level that is more palatable, VW is promising some cheap ID EVs, but then we know what their promises are like.

Same same in Oz. Soul has never been popular... current sales are around 30 per month while the similar sized Cerato sells much much more. Soul EV will be a better fit under the e-Niro thingy they are launching next year...

The current gen was already EV only here in the Netherlands. With the new Stonic being approximately the same size I kind of understand their choice to do this for the next gen in more places.

I know a 300 miles EV will be available in the US, but idk if it’ll be the only option. My older brother is considering one to replace how wife’s 06 xb.
